While I don’t necessarily really dig the idea of being a nerd (or hipster, or jock, or whatever lazy group label people come up with), I still stand by this rhetoric that it’s not so bad to want to acquire knowledge and that it’s inherently wrong to malign that aspiration.
On the other hand, I’m also a pop culture junkie. You can have it both ways.
