Like, I don’t want to be the Uniform Gestapo, but I’ve got some issues with the Syracuse uniform saying “‘CUSE” instead of Syracuse and the Arizona uniform saying “‘ZONA.”
It just seems mad cheesy. Very few local markets can capitalize on specialized abbreviations on their uniforms (i.e. The NOLA Hornets, UConn Huskies…and, uh, I guess the ATL Hawks—they barely get away with the abbreviation).
